Programmes for Active Learning (PAL)
Discover how PAL helps Primary 1 and 2 students learn through art, drama, dance and outdoor activities, building confidence and creativity beyond the classroom.
The PAL Mission is to provide broad exposure, experiential and engaging experiences for our students to enjoy learning, explore with curiosity, express themselves confidently and creatively, and to extend their learning to their daily lives.
The objectives of PAL are carried by the following domains.
Primary 1: Visual Art, Drama, Dance and Outdoor Education
Primary 2: Visual Art, Drama, Dance and Sports & Games
PAL: Dance
Primary 1 – Ethnic Dance
P1 students explored graceful movements and traditional music, learning to appreciate Singapore’s rich cultural heritage.
Primary 2 – Modern Dance
P2 students expressed themselves through energetic modern dance moves, building confidence, rhythm and teamwork while having fun!
PAL: Visual Art
Students learn more about themselves, their friends, and the neighbourhood through the Visual Art module.
PAL: Drama
Students learn more about expressing themselves creatively through the Drama module.
PAL: P1 Outdoor Education
P1 students learnt basic first aid, built tents and worked together through fun outdoor activities that built confidence, teamwork and care for others.
PAL: P2 Sports and Games
P2 Sports and Games focuses on Games Creation, where students work together with their peers to create original and fun games for others to try. Through this process, students learn to share ideas, plan game rules, solve problems, and improve their games based on feedback. This helps to build teamwork, creativity, communication skills, and confidence, while allowing students to learn through play in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
