Our Pedagogical Approach

We adopted the 5 Practices of Exemplary Leadership by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z Posner in developing student leadership in all our students. As we explicitly teach the 5 Practices of Exemplary Leadership, we seek to instil the following behaviours in our students.

1) Model the way

2) Inspire a shared vision

3) Challenge the process

4) Enable others to act

5) Encourage the heart 

In developing every child as a leader, we have in place a 3 Tier Student Leadership Framework.

We provide opportunities for students to apply their leadership skills through values-in-action activities as they serve their peers, school and community. The student population engages and explores leadership opportunities through experiential learning such as the leadership camps and service learning opportunities.
