2026 Rakan Bahasa Appointment Ceremony
Rakan Bahasa students took their oath as ambassadors for the Malay language at the 2026 appointment ceremony. They also took part in an interactive session on expressive reading with the Opera Academy bangsawan troupe.
On 6 April, our Rakan Bahasa students proudly attended the Rakan Bahasa Appointment Ceremony, where they took their oath together with fellow Rakan Bahasa ambassadors from primary schools, secondary schools, and junior colleges across Singapore. The ceremony was a meaningful occasion that celebrated their commitment to promoting and appreciating the Malay language.
Students also enjoyed an engaging and interactive segment conducted by the bangsawan troupe, Opera Academy, where they learnt valuable tips on expressive and effective reading. One of our students, brave Zayyan, confidently volunteered to read on stage, making the experience even more memorable for our 2 Rakan Bahasa.
