Support Programmes:
To raise the reading proficiency of students who need support in reading, the school conducts various programmes for students at different levels.

Wits & Words: Inter-school Debate Championship The Wits & Words: Inter-school Debate Championship builds the oral competencies of verbally talented students. | Primary 5 |
Creative Writing Programme The Creative Writing Programme (CWP) nurtures students’ creative writing skills in English. It comprises an online enrichment session for pupils, a non-residential in-person creative writing camp and the chance to be published in Mementoes, a collection of the best works from the CWP Camp. | Primary 5 |
Reading Circles Reading Circles (RC) is a provision for advanced readers who are ready to read more widely, deeply and critically. Based on the instructional approach of reader response, RC aims to engage advanced readers to help them extend their experience of the world through exposure to a range of age-appropriate rich texts (fiction and non-fiction). Through collective inquiry and the cultivation of an active inquiring stance to reading , readers are encouraged to respond with authentic connections to the texts and their worlds they meet, and to develop capacity for imagination, perspective-taking and empathy. Resources for RC are designed as modules, and each module is constructed around one fiction text. The reading modules vary in pitch and difficulty to cater to a range of verbal talents. | Primary 4 and 5 |
Inter-school Debate Championship
The Wits & Words Primary 4: Inter-school Debate Championship builds the oral competencies of verbally talented students.
Team AIPS took part in the Wits and Words Inter-school Debate Championships on 28 February 2026 in Nanyang Girls High School. The competition focuses on building the oral competencies of students. Team AIPS put on a tough fight with their rebuttals, giving their opponents a run for their money. Well done, team!
Vactors Reading Stars Competition
Our Primary 3 team which participated in the Vactors Reading Stars competition emerged as one of the winners!
The team of Muhammad Jibran, Hong Yutong and Aldebaran Pramudya Kurniantoro brought the classic tale of The Fisherman And His Wife to life with their voices. Congratulations to the brilliant trio!
