P6 Graduation Party 2024
It has become a cherished yearly tradition for our Dance Club to host a special party in honour of our graduating Primary 6 dancers. During this celebration, our members receive certificates in recognition of their contributions to the club, while SYF dancers are also presented with their Certificates of Participation.
The dancers enjoy a meal together, share heartfelt speeches, and bid their final goodbyes with warm hugs and fond memories. This year, we are delighted to continue this meaningful tradition on Tuesday, 18 November 2025.
Hari Raya Concert 2025
During the school’s Hari Raya Celebrations, the AIPS Malay Dance Club added colour and joy to the festive occasion with a lively and graceful performance. Primary 6 dancers Nisrina and Dayana Maisarah from 6 Excellence warmly welcomed our Vice-Principal with a beautiful welcome dance, gracefully scattering flower petals as a mark of respect and celebration. The rest of the dance team then took to the stage, dressed in vibrant Baju Melayu in shades of green, gold and blue, dancing energetically to a Hari Raya song that filled the hall with festive cheer. Their performance reflected the spirit of unity, tradition, and joy that Hari Raya brings to the school community.
Semester 1 Birthday Celebration 2025
At the end of Term 2, we held a Semester 1 Birthday Celebration to honour all members whose birthdays fell between January and June. This celebration reminds everyone that each member is special and holds a meaningful place in the Malay Dance Club.
The Semester 2 Birthday Celebration will be held during our Graduation Party on 18 November 2025, where we will continue to celebrate the bonds and joy shared within our dance family.
National Day Celebration 2025
The Malay Dance Club presented a lively and uplifting performance to the song “Tehnang” by Nadi Singapura. The song carries a meaningful message about remaining calm and resilient in the face of challenges.
This performance also marked a special milestone — the debut solo by Luqmanul Hakim from 5 Care, our only male dancer, who has shown remarkable dedication and commitment since joining the club in Primary 2.
Malay Arts Exposure 2025 – Dikir Barat
The recreational team participated in a 10-session Dikir Barat workshop conducted by Nadi Singapura, with Mr Yaziz Hassan as the lead trainer. The dancers were fortunate to learn from this award-winning musician, gaining valuable insights into the art form and its cultural significance.
They will showcase what they have learnt through a special performance on Appreciation Day, 21 November 2025.
